Vlahovic’s Juventus journey at crossroads, tied to potential new coach amid Chelsea talks

Juventus is poised to initiate discussions to prolong Dusan Vlahovic’s contract, yet according to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the forward’s destiny is intertwined with the future of Massimiliano Allegri.

While Vlahovic won’t participate in the upcoming Serie A clash between Juventus and Udinese on Monday evening, he remains a central topic of conversation in Turin.

Matteo Moretto, a transfer specialist for Football Italia, informed Caught Offside that negotiations for a contract extension between the Serie A titans and Vlahovic haven’t commenced and it’s still premature to predict the course of action for the Serbian international.

Moretto confirms that Chelsea tracked Vlahovic last summer and anticipates that other Premier League clubs will express interest in the former Fiorentina standout at the conclusion of the season.

There’s a prevailing sentiment that Vlahovic’s future is contingent upon Max Allegri, whose contract with Juventus expires in June 2025. Allegri’s continuity in Turin post-summer isn’t assured yet, and according to Moretto, Vlahovic’s decision regarding his tenure at the Allianz Stadium will also be influenced by the potential successor to the Livorno-native coach.

Vlahovic’s Juventus contract is set to expire in June 2026.
