During an interview with Sky Sports Racing presenter Matt Chapman, a Spurs supporter, Ferguson was probed about the likelihood of Ange Postecoglou’s squad clinching the Premier League title. The ex-Manchester United boss, renowned for his halftime speech “lads, it’s Tottenham” during his tenure, responded pointedly.

When asked if Spurs could ever secure the Premier League, Ferguson tersely answered, “No.” He elaborated by referencing their last title win in 1961 and highlighted the formidable competition posed by Liverpool and Manchester City in today’s Premier League landscape.

Chapman interjected, suggesting Spurs had better odds than United, prompting Ferguson to dismiss the notion outright, stating, “No chance!”

Presently, Tottenham occupies the fourth spot in the Premier League standings with 47 points, trailing leaders Liverpool by seven points and boasting a nine-point lead over sixth-placed United. Despite their position, Ferguson seemingly harbors no confidence in Postecoglou’s team’s ability to claim the trophy.

Tottenham’s next fixture pits them against Wolves in the Premier League, while United faces Aston Villa on Sunday.
