Recent reports suggest that Manchester United’s Danish midfielder, Christian Eriksen, is currently in “secret talks” regarding a potential move away from the club. The 31-year-old, who has faced limited playing time due to a combination of injuries and non-selection, is considering joining Galatasaray before the Turkish transfer window closes on Friday.

Negotiations with Galatasaray are said to be ongoing “in great secrecy,” with a loan deal accompanied by an option to buy is the preferred structure. If the move is finalized in time, Eriksen could make his debut for Galatasaray against Istanbul Basaksehir on Saturday. However, in case the deal is not concluded by Friday, there is a reported “promise” that the transfer will occur at the end of the season.

Eriksen, who joined Manchester United in the summer of 2022, had previously enjoyed a successful spell with Brentford and experienced Serie A title success with Inter Milan before joining the Red Devils.
