Roma have completed the official signing of left-back Angelino from RB Leipzig, submitting his contract to Lega Serie A.
The 27-year-old Spanish player was previously on loan with Galatasaray, but his loan spell was halted to facilitate his transfer to Rome. He arrived in Italy yesterday to undergo medical examinations with the Giallorossi before finalizing his contract.
Roma has acquired Angelino from RB Leipzig on a six-month loan agreement, including a purchase option valued at approximately €5 million plus €1 million in additional fees. There are indications that a conditional understanding is in place, activating the purchase option if the club qualifies for the Champions League.
Angelino’s transfer to Roma was officially announced today, with the club registering his contract with Lega Serie A. He will now commence integration into Daniele De Rossi’s squad and could feature in the upcoming league match against Cagliari on February 5.
During the initial half of the season, Angelino contributed one goal and one assist in 19 appearances for Galatasaray.
