Brentford is reportedly exploring the possibility of bringing back West Ham’s Said Benrahma in a surprising cut-price deal before the transfer window closes. The Bees, having initially sold Benrahma to West Ham, are interested in securing the attacker’s return. While Benrahma could leave West Ham if the right offer surfaces, recent indications suggest his interest in a move to Saudi Arabia.

French clubs Lyon and Marseille have also expressed interest, but Brentford has entered the fray, especially after deeming Sunderland’s Jack Clarke too expensive. West Ham secured Benrahma in a £25 million transfer from Brentford in 2021, amassing 155 appearances since. Despite his substantial playing time, the 28-year-old winger has struggled to find form this season, failing to score in 22 appearances across all competitions.

Manager David Moyes has favored other options, with Pablo Fornals also potentially departing for Real Betis in a £10 million deal. Meanwhile, West Ham added Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips on a six-month loan, with discussions for a permanent transfer likely in the summer.
