Milan is once again turning its attention to the Premier League in search of a new defender, with Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo emerging as the latest target.
The club’s need for defensive reinforcements has become evident due to injuries to key players like Fikayo Tomori, Malick Thiaw, and Pierre Kalulu.
While considering various options in the January transfer market, such as Clement Lenglet from Aston Villa and Ben Godfrey from Everton, Milan is exploring more cost-effective alternatives.
Sky Sport Italia’s transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, reports that the club is now looking at Adarabioyo from Fulham. Director Geoffrey Moncada has reportedly initiated contact with Adarabioyo’s brother and agent.
Adarabioyo, currently 26 years old, is set to become a free agent on June 30. However, there’s a possibility of negotiating a deal in January for a reduced fee.
Having progressed through the Manchester City youth academy, Adarabioyo was transferred to Fulham for €1.65m in 2020. He has made 12 competitive appearances for Fulham this season, finding the back of the net once.
