Tottenham Hotspur has reportedly reached a “verbal agreement” to sell England international Eric Dier to Bayern Munich. The 29-year-old, with just six months left on his Spurs contract, has seen limited playing time under manager Ange Postecoglou this season, starting only once. Following Tottenham’s recent deal for Genoa defender Radu Dragusin, Dier could be on the brink of a move to Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga giants are said to be willing to pay £3.5 million for the out-of-favor defender, with discussions for an 18-month contract, including an option for a further 12-month extension. Dier, who joined Tottenham from Sporting Lisbon in 2014, has made 364 appearances for the club and earned 49 caps for England.

While training with Spurs as usual, the potential move to Bayern could mark a new chapter in Dier’s career. In addition to Dragusin’s impending arrival, Tottenham has also announced the loan signing of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
