Kylian Mbappe has reportedly settled the speculation surrounding his future by agreeing to a free transfer to Real Madrid. The PSG striker, a long-time target for the Spanish giants, is said to have reached an agreement with Real Madrid in recent days.

Despite persistent rumors linking him with Manchester United and Liverpool, Mbappe, the 2018 World Cup winner, has opted for a move to Real Madrid. The 25-year-old forward rejected at least one world-record offer from Saudi Arabia. With Mbappe entering the final six months of his PSG contract, a move to another club was inevitable. Mbappe had the option to extend his stay in Paris for another year but communicated his “no intention” of doing so to club officials last summer.

Despite initial setbacks, including exclusion from PSG’s pre-season tour and a rejected bid from Al-Hilal, Mbappe’s commitment and impressive form in Ligue 1 may now be rewarded with a move to Real Madrid.
