Manchester United’s Anthony Martial has reportedly received an offer from Fenerbahce, providing a potential exit route for the 28-year-old as he approaches the final six months of his contract at Old Trafford. Martial, who joined United from Monaco in 2015, has had a varied tenure, scoring 90 goals in 317 appearances.

While discussions over a contract extension with United are ongoing, Fenerbahce is eager to secure Martial’s services immediately and has proposed an initial offer of £6.8 million, bypassing a summer transfer. Despite scoring just two goals in 19 matches this season, United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, revealed ongoing talks about a contract extension. Fenerbahce, benefiting from a perceived “good relationship” with United following previous player transfers, hopes to finalize the cut-price move.

Under the new football operations leadership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who injected £1.03 billion into the club, United is expected to undergo significant financial restructuring. Ten Hag confirmed contract extensions for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, and Hannibal Mejbri while engaging in negotiations with Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial about their futures. Additionally, Sergio Reguilon’s loan spell from Tottenham has been terminated.
