The Swiss athlete initiated the holiday season by enjoying a hot tub session and relaxing in a sauna. Lehmann shared the moments on Instagram, captioning the pictures with, “Relaxing the mind, relaxing the body🧘🏼♀️”
Currently recuperating from the first half of the Women’s Super League season, the 24-year-old forward has participated in six league matches for Aston Villa. The team currently holds the ninth position in the standings, with a four-point lead over Bristol City and West Ham, who are at the bottom.
Taking advantage of the winter break, Lehmann returned home and visited a special needs school attended by her younger sister in Switzerland. During the visit, she distributed gifts to the children.
Lehmann plans to continue her rest during the winter period before the WSL campaign resumes next month. Aston Villa will be back in action on January 13, facing Everton in the FA Cup at the Poundland Bescot Stadium, followed by a WSL match against Leicester on January 21.
