Before their upcoming semi-final against Urawa Reds scheduled for Tuesday, Silva downplayed the likelihood of joining a Saudi Pro League team in the near future. He expressed contentment with continuing his career in Europe, which he considers to be the pinnacle of football.

In discussions with journalists, Silva highlighted the significant advancements in the Saudi League, attributing them to substantial investments. He emphasized the ongoing progression in the league, yet affirmed his current focus on City, relishing the experience of playing in European football, which he regards as the highest caliber.

During the summer, the attacking midfielder was linked with a potential move to Saudi Arabia, as well as Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona. However, he opted to remain in Manchester, subsequently sealing a new contract with the European champions that binds him to the club until 2026.
