Kane returned to England as Bayern Munich closed their Champions League group stage with a 1-0 victory against Manchester United. The former Tottenham player continued his strong performances for his new team, assisting Kingsley Coman’s decisive goal. While Kane has excelled at Bayern, he admitted facing challenges in adjusting to his move to Germany.

Speaking to TNT Sports post-match, Kane acknowledged the difficulties: “It’s been difficult. It was my first move in my career so I probably didn’t realise what went into it. Not only the new team, but the personal, the family – I’ve got four kids. So thankfully we’ve found a house now, we’ll be looking to move in after the winter break. The only problem is, if I stop scoring when they come, I might have to send them back!”

“[The most difficult thing is] All the stuff outside you have to sort out. From work permit, to finding houses and schools. I try to do as much as I can but I’ve got good people and family around me. Overall, I’m just enjoying the new experience. Playing in new stadiums with different fans it’s given me real excitement.”

Kane had been residing in a Munich hotel, accumulating expenses since leaving Tottenham. However, he’s preparing to move into an impressive villa once owned by Lucas Hernandez, along with his family. With the Bundesliga pausing for a winter break after the December fixtures, Bayern hopes a settled Kane will continue his impressive goal-scoring form when the league resumes on January 12.

He’s the first player across Europe’s top five leagues to contribute to 30 goals in all competitions this season, boasting 22 goals and eight assists for Bayern.

As group winners, Bayern advances to the Champions League last 16, aspiring for a strong tournament run with Kane in the squad. Next up for Tuchel’s side is a Bundesliga clash against Stuttgart, seeking redemption after a surprising 5-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt in their previous outing.
