Liverpool secured a hard-fought win against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, maintaining their strong away form with a 2-0 victory. Jurgen Klopp’s side faced a resilient Blades, but Virgil van Dijk’s first-half goal and Dominik Szoboszlai’s injury-time strike sealed the win. Despite United’s disciplined defense, Klopp expressed frustration at Liverpool’s struggle to secure the second goal.

Anel Ahmedhodzic’s claims of a foul in the build-up to Van Dijk’s goal were dismissed by VAR. While Liverpool’s away performances have not matched their home dominance, this win marked their third away Premier League victory in eight attempts. Chris Wilder, back in the Blades’ dugout, faces a challenging task to keep the team in the Premier League.

Though defensively solid, United lacked pace and creativity in attack. Liverpool’s Mo Salah missed his opportunity to score his 200th goal, denied by an excellent save from Wes Foderingham. The victory sets Liverpool in good stead, with fans eagerly anticipating the upcoming clash against Manchester United.
