Jose Mourinho was questioned about Roma’s goals for the season and whether securing a top-four position holds greater significance than reaching another Europa League final.

During his Sky Sport interview ahead of the Servette-Roma match, Mourinho highlighted his upbringing in teams where prioritizing the league over the Europa League was inconceivable.

He expressed his disapproval of this notion, stating, “I don’t like this thought.”

While acknowledging the need to make decisions if it comes down to choosing between competitions, Mourinho emphasized that it was premature to make such considerations at the present moment.

He pointed out that there are still eight games remaining until the conclusion of 2023 and described the current phase as challenging, particularly with a Thursday match followed by another against Sassuolo on Saturday.

Mourinho anticipated a better understanding of the situation only after these upcoming fixtures, suggesting that the following three days would be strenuous.
