Bologna regained their winning momentum by securing a 2-0 victory against Torino in Serie A, courtesy of second-half goals from Giovanni Fabbian and Joshua Zirkzee. The team had enjoyed an undefeated streak of 10 games before succumbing to Fiorentina just before the international break. Following this win, Bologna has climbed two spots in the league standings and currently sits sixth.

Fabbian opened the scoring for the home team in the 56th minute during Monday’s match. Seizing an opportunity when goalkeeper Luca Gemello ventured out of the box, Fabbian capitalized with a composed finish despite Torino defenders’ attempts to recover.

Zirkzee extended Bologna’s lead with a second goal deep into injury time.

While Torino managed to match Bologna for extended periods, they struggled to find the back of the net. A victory would have marked a significant milestone for Torino, positioning them as only the eighth team in Serie A history to reach 3,000 points. Despite their efforts, Torino remains in the 12th position on the league table.
