BRUSSELS. Anderlecht was capable to reverse the scoreline against RWDM to win 2-1. It was RWDM to strike first with a goal of Xavier Mercier at the 16′. Then it was a penalty in the 74′ minute to make things even for 1-1. Eventually, Luis Vázquez gave the win to Anderlecht in the 90′ minute. Anderlecht was much superior in terms of ball possession (74%) and that was among the factors of its victory.​
