The elite from the sports and entertainment realms gathered to witness Max Verstappen’s historic victory at the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix. Never one to evade the limelight, Ibrahimovic was prominently positioned among them. Prior to the race, the former striker engaged with Sky Sports from the pits, discussing his admiration for Ferrari.
When asked about his thoughts on Las Vegas’ setup, Ibrahimovic expressed, “It’s impressive, highly thrilling. I’m eagerly anticipating the race. Ferrari holds my allegiance.” Responding to reporter Martin Brundle’s mention of his Ferrari collection, Ibrahimovic confirmed, “Indeed, I own several.”
Las Vegas hosted Ibrahimovic alongside a constellation of renowned figures like Brad Pitt, Rod Stewart, and Inter Miami owner David Beckham. Unfortunately, despite the former AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and LA Galaxy star’s support, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc had to settle for second place behind Red Bull’s Verstappen.
Having retired at the age of 41 in June, Ibrahimovic might soon rekindle his ties with his beloved club, AC Milan. Earlier this month, the Serie A giants verified discussions held with the Swede regarding a potential role. Zlatan’s return to San Siro could be imminent.
