Wayne Rooney is considering the inclusion of 17-year-old talent Pharrell Williams in Birmingham City’s first team following the youngster’s impressive double for the academy side. Since taking over as manager in October, Rooney has faced a challenging start, losing four matches and drawing one out of five. To address the team’s goal-scoring concerns, Rooney may turn to the promising youth prospect Williams, who netted two goals as a substitute against Coventry United in the Birmingham Senior Cup Second Round.

Despite Williams’ on-field achievements, fans couldn’t resist making playful references to his famous namesake, music star Pharrell Williams. Jokes and comments flooded social media, highlighting the young player’s success with phrases like “Bet he feels like a room without a roof with that goal!” and “He’ll be happy with that.” The Blues emerged victorious with a 4-0 win, securing a place in the third round of the competition.

Despite Birmingham City’s recent struggles, Rooney remains optimistic, noting positives and improvements in the team’s performance. After a recent defeat by Sunderland, Rooney stated, “We caused them some big problems throughout and got into some excellent positions.”
