Liverpool Eyes Move For Psg Star Kylian Mbappe As Contract Talks Stall

Liverpool, under the management of Jurgen Klopp, is reportedly considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) Kylian Mbappe, who has opted not to renew his contract with the French club. The interest from Liverpool comes amid Mbappe’s pursuit of a move to Real Madrid, a transfer that did not materialize during the last pre-season.

While Real Madrid has expressed interest in Mbappe in previous transfer windows, the high-wage offers from PSG have influenced the player’s decision to stay. With Mbappe set to become a free agent at the end of his contract, his demands include a tax-free annual salary of 35 million euros and a signing fee of up to 100 million euros.

Real Madrid, currently competing with Liverpool for the French captain’s signature, may face reluctance in meeting Mbappe’s financial expectations. If uncertainties persist regarding a move to Real Madrid, the superstar forward, known for his admiration of five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo, could potentially explore a move to the Premier League.

Mbappe is currently engaged with the French national team during the international matchday, with upcoming Euro 2024 preliminaries against Gibraltar and Greece. Following the international break, PSG is scheduled to face Monaco in a Ligue 1 match.
