Arsenal midfielder Jorginho, who joined the North London club from Chelsea in January, hasn’t ruled out the possibility of extending his stay beyond the current season. However, the 31-year-old Italian international revealed his desire to return to Italian football at some point before retiring.

Although Jorginho’s current contract expires at the end of the season, he remains open to discussions with overseas clubs starting January. The midfielder, known for his time at Napoli between 2014 and 2018, expressed personal interest in returning to Italian soil.

Despite considering his options, Jorginho emphasized his satisfaction with Arsenal’s challenge for the Premier League title this season. Reflecting on his initial months at the club, he stated, “My first six months at Arsenal have not been negative at all. So it’s the opposite.”

Discussing his role at Arsenal and the adjustments required, Jorginho acknowledged the learning curve and expressed contentment with the responsibilities granted by coach Arteta. He highlighted the importance of sharing his experiences with teammates and contributing to the team’s growth.
