Harry Kane continues to make the Bundesliga appear effortless, securing another accolade during his tenure at Bayern Munich.

The former standout for Tottenham has seamlessly transitioned to life in Bavaria, leading the German top flight with an impressive 15 goals after just 10 league games.

Demonstrating his insatiable hunger for success, Kane extended his list of achievements by scoring a first-half brace in the recent clash against Heidenheim.

This accomplishment catapulted Kane into the record books as the first player to achieve 17 goals across the initial 11 matchdays of any Bundesliga season.

To contextualize this feat, last season’s Golden Boot was shared by Christopher Nkunku and Niclas Fullkrug, who each scored 16 goals throughout the campaign.

Robert Lewandowski, now with Barcelona since the summer of 2022, previously held the record with 16 goals in the first 11 games of the 2019/20 campaign.

The legendary Gerd Muller had maintained the record for 51 years before that.

At 30 years old, Kane surpassed these elite milestones at the Allianz Arena, guiding Bayern to a result that temporarily elevated them above Bayer Leverkusen to the top of the Bundesliga.

Currently leading the Golden Boot race by two goals over Stuttgart’s Sehrou Guirassy, the England captain showcased remarkable leadership as Heidenheim briefly equalized with two quick goals.

However, Bayern re-established their dominance, securing victory with goals from Raphael Guerreiro and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

Kane had already set a new Bayern club record by scoring seven times in the first five matchdays of a Bundesliga season, second only to former Borussia Dortmund talisman Erling Haaland.

As a three-time Premier League Golden Boot winner during his 14-year tenure at Spurs, Kane’s move to Bayern increases his chances of adding team silverware to his collection.

Bayern currently tops the Bundesliga and leads their Champions League group by eight points, having already secured a spot in the last 16.

With a total of 21 goals in 16 appearances across all competitions, Kane is on track to surpass his previous best of 41 goals in 48 games for Tottenham during the 2017/18 season.

Fueled by the support of his teammates in Munich, the Three Lions star appears poised to continue breaking boundaries at Bayern.
