Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has advised Aston Villa, currently performing exceptionally well, to appreciate Unai Emery while they still have the chance.
Carragher emphasized that only Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool have accumulated more Premier League points than Aston Villa since Emery took the helm of the team in November 2022.
Carragher also believes that the former Villarreal head coach may sense an unfulfilled ambition at the highest echelons of football, given his previous, somewhat mediocre tenures at PSG and Arsenal.
According to the ex-England star, Emery, who is 52 years old, is likely already a sought-after figure by elite football clubs.
