In July, Nara’s life took an unexpected twist when a routine check-up unveiled her battle with leukemia, a type of blood cancer that originates in the bone marrow. Speaking on RAI, Nara shared her journey from diagnosis to treatment.
“I had to travel to Milan, and I always undergo routine tests when I travel,” Nara explained. “The values were a bit unusual, and the doctors began to take notice.”
In a vulnerable moment, she recounted her hospital stay and seeing news reports about her illness on television. “Turning on the TV in the hospital and seeing ‘Wanda is ill,’ I cried without truly understanding my condition.”
Nara also emphasized the crucial role her children played in supporting her through this challenging time, shedding light on her decision to participate in a new reality TV show.
