Piers Morgan watched the Beckham Netflix documentary and confessed to unexpectedly liking and admiring David and Victoria Beckham. The documentary, released in October, offers an intimate look into the lives and careers of the iconic couple.

Morgan, known for his quip about a ‘David Beckham dartboard’ during his time as the Mirror’s editor, expressed his newfound admiration on X (formerly Twitter). He admitted, “Just watched the whole Beckham doc series on @netflix and, to my absolute astonishment, really enjoyed it. And even more shockingly, I ended up liking & and admiring them both.” He added humorously, “Probably owe his mum an apology for the Mirror dartboard in ‘98 too….”

The famous dartboard, with David’s face at the bullseye, was created after his red card in the 1998 World Cup. In the documentary, the Beckhams reflect on this significant event, with Victoria revealing that David was “depressed” afterward.

Viewers have praised the documentary for providing a revealing look into the lives of the beloved couple, commending the strong family values that make them relatable and appealing.
