Former Manchester United player Alex Telles, who now plays for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, celebrated his marriage in the picturesque Maldives. The Brazilian left-back had spent three years at Old Trafford before moving to Al Nassr, where he currently shares the pitch with the iconic Cristiano Ronaldo.
Telles, now 30, struggled to make a significant impact in the Premier League and had a loan spell with Sevilla last season. However, life seems to be on the upswing for him, both personally and professionally.
The footballer tied the knot with his model and influencer partner, Victoria Telles. She shared stunning photos of their Maldives wedding on her Instagram, including a picture of her in her wedding dress holding a bouquet, and a romantic shot of the couple on a hammock above the sea.
While fans congratulated the newlyweds, it was revealed that they had already legally married a year ago. Victoria expressed her excitement about the celebration organized by Alex.
Despite his less-than-stellar stint at Manchester United, Telles expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to play for the club in a heartfelt farewell message to fans. He thanked the club, its supporters, and the city of Manchester.
Telles originally joined Manchester United from Porto for an initial fee of £13.6 million in October 2020 but was deemed surplus to requirements after Tyrell Malacia’s arrival last summer.
