Manchester United supporters convinced Erik Ten Hag took a brief pooping break during Crystal Palace match

After Erik ten Hag didn't come from the locker room at Old Trafford until the second half had begun, Manchester United supporters joked that he went for a poop.

Erik Ten Hag Runs, Fans Assume He Went For A Pooping Break

Manchester United enthusiasts firmly believe that Erik ten Hag discreetly took a restroom break during half-time in the Red Devils’ Carabao Cup encounter with Crystal Palace.

United commenced their defense of the Carabao Cup with a resounding 3-0 victory against the Eagles. While the team effortlessly dominated the match, some observant fans caught a particular moment on social media.

Just before the half-time interval, Ten Hag hastily dashed down the tunnel and didn’t reappear until one minute after the second half had commenced. This prompted some fans to humorously speculate that he had gone to use the facilities.

“He’s taken a s***, he’s taken a s***!! Erik ten Hag, he’s taken a s***,” one supporter quipped, adapting the infamous chant. Meanwhile, another quipped, “Ten Hag gonna have to fine himself because his toilet break ran over…”

“Erik Ten Hag definitely had a half time poo,” a third shared. And another added: “Ten Hag deffo went for a cheeky half time poo!”

Despite fielding a second-string lineup for their midweek clash, United’s performance showed no signs of weakness, as they swiftly took the lead with Alejandro Garnacho’s goal. Casemiro added a second six minutes later, and Anthony Martial joined in on the scoring in the second half. Ten Hag now faces the task of preparing his squad for a rematch against the same opponents over the weekend.
