The influence of Silvio Berlusconi appears to endure at AC Milan, even though the club’s late president has passed away. The Serie A giants recently made a move reminiscent of the former Italian Prime Minister’s tactics by inviting retired adult actress Mia Khalifa to a recent fashion event held at the San Siro.
AC Milan has long maintained strong connections with the fashion industry due to the city’s prominence as a global fashion hub. Several prominent figures attended a gala event celebrating the club’s collaboration with Off White, including model Khalifa. Pictures surfaced of the Lebanese star, wearing a stunning gold dress with a high neck and sleeked-back hair, as she happily posed alongside Italian rapper Fedez.
Khalifa, who now operates a jewelry and clothing company called Sheytan, is accustomed to drawing attention through her social media platforms by leaving little to the imagination. Nonetheless, her presence at the San Siro demonstrates that Khalifa is a perfect fit for the world of high fashion.
It’s worth noting that this is not the first time an attractive woman has graced the San Siro’s surroundings, though Khalifa’s visit is entirely unrelated to Berlusconi’s infamous ‘bunga bunga’ parties. Berlusconi, who passed away in June 2023, was known for numerous scandals during his life, having been a twice-married politician and businessman.
This season marks the second year of Milan’s collaboration with Off White, a brand generally not geared towards the average fan. For instance, an AC Milan-Off White varsity jacket, available on the company’s website, carries a hefty price tag of £3,345. However, for those on a budget, an AC Milan-Off White scarf can be had for £245, or a collaboration keyring is available for the more affordable price of £150.
Khalifa has previously shown support for West Ham on her Instagram and has expressed her fondness for England in the past, citing the 2005 film “Green Street” as an inspiration. She mentioned in 2018, “I watched Green Street hooligans when I was young and ever since then I’ve loved West Ham,” she told Daily Star Sport in 2018. “I would love to [attend a game], I actually plan on going back to do a food tour there. And I’m going to make it line up with a match that I can go and see.”
Although Khalifa’s connection with AC Milan doesn’t have the same backstory, the Italian powerhouse is surely pleased to have her as part of their team. If only she had arrived a few days earlier to provide inspiration for the team’s Champions League victory over Newcastle.
