Manchester United Players Clash In Dressing Room After Defeat To Brighton

Following Manchester United’s disappointing 1-3 loss to Brighton at Old Trafford, reports emerged of a heated altercation involving four players in the dressing room.

The dressing room dispute reportedly involved team captain Bruno Fernandes and midfielder Scott McTominay in a heated exchange, while defenders Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof also reportedly had a disagreement. Currently sitting 13th in the Premier League standings, Manchester United faces a challenging Champions League match against Bayern Munich on Thursday.

During the Brighton game, Danish star Rasmus Højlund, signed last summer, was in the starting lineup. However, fans ridiculed Eric Ten Hag, who replaced Højlund in the 64th minute. In the last transfer window, Manchester United made new signings and player sales but failed to address certain issues, particularly related to striker Mason Greenwood.

Furthermore, the club faces uncertainties with Jadon Sancho, who has been omitted from the senior squad after a disagreement with Eric Ten Hag, and winger Anthony, who has been suspended indefinitely amid allegations of physical assault against his ex-girlfriend in Brazil. There are also questions surrounding defender Harry Maguire, as West Ham prepares to offer him the captain’s role in January.
