The England midfielder introduced himself on the global stage through a series of impressive performances for Borussia Dortmund last season and during the 2022 World Cup. His exceptional form earned him a lucrative transfer to European giants Real Madrid, where he has excelled in his first four appearances, already netting five goals.

Like many players worldwide, Bellingham recently received his rating for the upcoming EAFC 24 video game, alongside his Real Madrid teammates Brahim Diaz, Lucas Vazquez, and Rodrygo.

When asked to predict his pace rating, the former Birmingham City star confidently guessed, “I’ve got to be like 84.” However, he was taken aback when he learned that he had been assigned a mere 76.

Diaz wasted no time in teasing his Los Blancos colleagues about their ratings, humorously commenting on Bellingham’s running style, saying, “You’re running like this all the time bro.”

A bewildered and shocked Bellingham couldn’t believe his rating, asking, “You’re joking? I was more last year, so I’ve gone down?”

While Bellingham may not be pleased with his in-game statistics for the upcoming video game, he has no reason to complain about his performances with Real Madrid.

The 20-year-old is the leading goal scorer for Carlo Ancelotti’s team this season, having scored five goals in four matches, in addition to providing an assist.

He added his sixth goal of the season during England’s 3-1 victory over their traditional rivals Scotland at Hampden Park on Tuesday night.

However, the soft-spoken midfielder remains grounded and focused on self-improvement, stating in an interview with beIN Sports, “I’m always learning.”

“I’m so lucky to have played with so many great players with my last club and even more so at my new club which is a big boost for me and for my own confidence to play with such great players.”

“I’m just learning all the time really. I’m trying to add more attributes to my game and trying to affect the ones I’ve already got.”

“If I can keep being effective in goal and doing the things that I do well already overall in my game then I think I could be doing well and hopefully have a good season.”

“So it’s important that I keep it up.”

Bellingham and his Real Madrid teammates will return to action on Sunday night when they host Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu.
