The 25-man Manchester United roster for the 2023–24 Premier League season is now confirmed.

Official Man Utd 25 Member Squad Confirmed

The official roster for Manchester United’s 2023/24 Premier League campaign has been unveiled.

The selection, disclosed by the club on Wednesday, encompasses players aged 21 and above. Notably, those born on or after January 1, 2002, are exempt from registration, affording clubs the liberty to field as many Under-21 talents as desired during matches.

Erik Ten Hag’s squad boasts six of the seven acquisitions made during the summer transfer window. The list encompasses permanent signings Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir, and Jonny Evans, alongside loaned players Sofyan Amrabat and Sergio Reguilon.

Rasmus Hojlund, at 20 years old, falls below the age threshold and thus doesn’t count against the quota. Similarly, key first-team player Alejandro Garnacho, as well as Amad and Kobbie Mainoo, who are recovering from pre-season injuries, are eligible due to their youth.

Hannibal, a player with prior first-team exposure, also falls under the age of 21. Manchester United can designate up to 17 players as ‘non-homegrown,’ and they retain the option to alter their squad during the January transfer window.

As the club’s manager Erik Ten Hag aptly puts it, “We have a promising blend of youth and experience in the squad, offering exciting prospects for the season ahead.”
