The Swifties resurfaced an older tweet from Balde in which he expressed his disinterest in Taylor Swift’s music, causing a wave of discontent among the pop star’s supporters.
Subsequently, Bellingham experienced a substantial surge in his voting percentage, reportedly rising from 30% to a staggering 89% by midnight on Wednesday.
Beyond this competition, Bellingham has made an impressive start at Real Madrid, netting five goals in just four La Liga appearances. In contrast, Balde, the Barcelona left-back, has featured in three league matches but is yet to contribute a goal or assist to Xavi’s squad.
