After Arsenal’s game versus Manchester United, according to the Metropolitan Police, Sky Sports analyst Roy Keane allegedly received a headbutt. A 42-year-old male has been detained on suspicion of assault, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Social media video captured the events following the altercation involving Keane and colleague pundit Micah Richards at Arsenal vs. Manchester United. Keane and Richards both provided the Met Police with statements.
In a previous statement, the Met Police had stated:
“Police are investigating following an assault that is alleged to have occurred at the Emirates Stadium during an Arsenal vs Manchester United match on Sunday, September 3.
There have been no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing. Any witnesses or those with information are asked to call 101 ref CAD 6961/3 Sept.”
