Jurrien Timber’s knee injury, which occurred during Saturday’s 2-1 victory against Nottingham Forest, has been confirmed by Arsenal. The Dutch defender, one of Mikel Arteta’s summer acquisitions, made his Premier League debut for The Gunners in their opening matchup of the new campaign, but he left the game early in the second half on crutches after suffering a knock that may now keep him out for some time.

Jurrien Timber, who joined Arsenal this summer, suffered a right knee injury during The Gunners’ 2-1 victory against Nottingham Forest, according to Arsenal.

As Arsenal began their 2023–24 Premier League season with a victory on Saturday, Timber, who cost £40 million from Ajax, made his debut at the Emirates. However, the defender was substituted early in the second half after suffering an injury.

The 22-year-old’s injury has been rumored to keep him out of action for months, but Arsenal will only say that he would be sent for more testing to determine the severity of the problem.
