Following his departure from Manchester United this summer, David De Gea is now a free agent; Real Madrid is also keeping tabs on Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga’s position; and Thibaut Courtois, who suffered an ACL injury in training and will soon have surgery.

In light of Thibaut Courtois’ ACL injury, Real Madrid is looking into goalkeeping possibilities, and David De Gea’s reps have been contacted.

After leaving Manchester United this summer, De Gea is now a free agent.

Real are keeping tabs on Kepa Arrizabalaga’s condition as well. Bayern Munich’s top goalkeeper target is the Chelsea stopper, and a loan-to-buy deal is being sought.

Courtois, a player for Belgium, will have surgery soon after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament damage to his left knee during practice.

The 31-year-old has been a near-constant in the Spanish capital since signing from Chelsea in August 2018 and has made over 200 appearances for the club, but De Gea may step in to take his spot for the foreseeable future.

After 12 seasons and 545 appearances, the most by any goalkeeper in club history, De Gea left Old Trafford in July.

He made 95 saves and conceded 42 goals. He received no yellow cards and no red cards.

Thibaut Courtois

This season he played in total 31 times for 2790 minutes for La Liga.

He made 83 saves and conceded 28 goals. He received no yellow cards and no red cards.

His team is currently 2nd in La Liga. In the last match Real Madrid lost 3-1 against Juventus. The next match in La Liga will be against Athletic Club.
