According to information obtained by local journalists from insiders in the negotiations, Liverpool will now exercise a release provision for the 22-year-old.
The two teams are currently in “advanced” talks, according to tweets from Paul Joyce of The Times and Dominic King of The Mail. As a result, any move for Szoboszlai is anticipated to cost €70 million (£60.1 million), as per the sum outlined in his contract with Leipzig.
