Heated hours for Marcelo Brozovic’s transfer to Saudi Arabia: the footballer, who is currently on vacation in Zagreb, will put all of his doubts about the future to rest soon. Since yesterday, a group from Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo’s team, has been in Croatia trying to persuade the player to accept the transfer to Saudi Arabia.
The agents of the Arab club headed for Zagreb after reaching a financial arrangement with Inter, for a total of 23 million euros between the set share and the bonus. This was done in order to wrest the player’s unambiguous consent.
The Saudis made the 31-year-old midfielder a three-year offer worth 20 million euros, but he requested and got three years worth 30 million euros net instead. Brozovic wants Barcelona, but the Catalan team can’t get going again. Al-Nassr is prepared to accommodate the Croatian international’s requests. It’s a 95 million euro agreement all told, including commissions and signing incentives.
