Christian Pulisic, a winger for Chelsea and the USMNT, is reportedly interested in moving to AC Milan, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The 24-year-old is wanted by the Rossoneri this summer, and he reportedly is open to lowering his £13 million-per-season wage at Stamford Bridge in order to move to the San Siro.
After a season in which he made 24 appearances in the Premier League but only scored one goal, Pulisic struggled in the final year of his Chelsea contract. He had moved to West London for a sum of £58 million from Borussia Dortmund. Last week, sources told ESPN that the cost to acquire Pulisic would be in the neighborhood of £20 million, with Juventus reportedly leading the competition.
Manchester United, Newcastle United, Napoli, and Galatasaray are some of the other teams that have shown interest in signing Pulisic.
Rafael Leao, who recently signed a new contract that would keep him with the club until 2028, will be the opposite wing of AC Milan’s attacking line, and Pulisic is seen as the ideal replacement.
