To ensure the safety of the numerous spectators, Argentina’s open-top bus parade through the streets of Buenos Aires had to be stopped halfway through.
As Lionel Messi and the rest of the team returned from their triumphant World Cup victory in Qatar, throngs of people lined the streets to greet them.
A fan was seen in a video boarding the bus from an overpass after the planned 50-mile parade was shortened out of safety concerns. One video clip appeared to show a fan landing among the passengers while another tried to imitate them but failed and fell backward off the bus into the crowd.
