Alireza Safar Beiranvand, Iran’s goalkeeper, was hoping to give his pressures contribute to his country in the first match against England in the Qatar World Cup. Unfortunately, things went horribly sideways for him after having a horrible head-to-head collision against one of his teammates. The match was literally paralyzed for 9 minutes. Beiranvand try tried to stay on the pitch, but eventually, he could not make it, and he was substituted. Beiranvand was bleeding profusely on his nose and a concussion was quite possible.
Some fans and commentators were astonished by the fact that the goalkeeper was allowed to stay all the picture why it was quite clear that he suffered a concussion.
