Ivan Toney is determined to lead England to victory at Euro 2024 and has plans for a celebratory tattoo on his head if they win. The Brentford striker, part of Gareth Southgate’s squad, is preparing for Sunday’s opening match against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen.

Toney, covered in tattoos, joked about getting another if England wins the final on July 14. “Yes, 100 per cent. If we win, of course. I think I’ll get the trophy on my forehead or something!” he said. Returning from an eight-month betting ban in January, Toney is confident in England’s chances. “I believe with the players we have, we can win. It’s a long way to go, but if you think positively, positive things will happen,” he stated.

Known for his penalty prowess, Toney could be crucial in a shootout. “If it comes to it, we’ll practise and see who can step up and put it in the back of the net,” he added. Linked with Chelsea and Tottenham, Toney remains focused on Brentford. “I’m still a Brentford player and I’ve got to focus on that. If a move comes, I’ll be ready, but I must stay focused and not let the noise get to me,” he emphasized.
