Jesse Lingard is on the verge of joining Brazilian side Clube do Remo after leaving FC Seoul in January. The former Manchester United and England attacker moved to South Korea in 2024 following a five-month spell without a club.

During his time in the K-League, Lingard made 67 appearances and scored 19 goals, rebuilding momentum in his career. Lingard, 33, previously made 232 senior appearances for United after progressing through the academy. He also had loan spells at Leicester, Derby, Birmingham, and Brighton before breaking into the first team at Old Trafford.

A productive loan at West Ham United in 2021 preceded his permanent exit in 2022, when he joined Nottingham Forest for one season. Brazilian outlet Globo reports that Remo has made an offer, with a deal now close to completion as Lingard prepares for a new chapter in South America.
