Victor Osimhen has been rumored to leave Napoli throughout the summer, with Paris Saint-Germain initially showing interest. However, PSG withdrew due to Osimhen’s high price and their preference for keeping Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos.
Recently, Chelsea has emerged as a potential destination for Osimhen. Reports suggest that a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku could be in the works, with Lukaku possibly moving to Napoli in exchange for Osimhen. Antonio Conte is keen on Lukaku, and such a deal could facilitate Osimhen’s desired departure from Napoli, according to Manna.
Manna stated: “Victor Osimhen has requested to leave the club. He is eager to move. This situation has been evident since last summer, and Victor remains determined to depart. We’ll know more in the next 20 days.”
Although Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has dismissed the possibility of a swap or loan deal this season, the striker’s strong desire to leave Napoli might force him to accept Chelsea’s terms.
