Milan forward Noah Okafor has been mentioned in connection with a potential transfer to Roma as part of a deal involving Giallorossi striker Tammy Abraham. However, recent reports indicate that the Rossoneri now prefer to retain the Swiss international.
Milan is actively seeking another striker to complement summer acquisition Alvaro Morata for the 2024-25 season, with Abraham from Roma considered a possible target. Roma is holding out for offers between €25m and €30m for Abraham, a sum comparable to their recent expenditure on Artem Dovbyk from Girona. Milan, however, is aiming to negotiate a lower price.
Previously, there were suggestions that Okafor might be used as leverage in negotiations with Roma. But recent reports suggest that Milan is keen on keeping the former RB Salzburg player for the upcoming season. According to Calciomercato.com, Okafor has returned to pre-season training with renewed motivation and is determined to secure a spot in the starting lineup. Milan believes the upcoming season could be pivotal for Okafor’s career.
