Bellingham is now closer to returning to action for Real Madrid after arriving in Spain on Tuesday. The 21-year-old was given an extended break after playing every match for England at Euro 2024, where the Three Lions reached the final in Germany.
Following a demanding 2023-24 season, during which Real Madrid also made it to the Champions League final, Bellingham enjoyed over three weeks of recovery time. While his club teammates embarked on a pre-season tour in the United States, Bellingham took a more leisurely trip across the country, visiting Los Angeles and Miami. During his stay, he met Sergio Aguero, visited a theme park with Trent Alexander-Arnold, and connected with NFL star Odell Beckham Jr.
With his vacation now complete, Bellingham shared a photo on Instagram after arriving in Madrid, captioned simply “Home,” as he gears up for his second season with Real Madrid.
As reported by AS, Bellingham will join Real Madrid’s pre-season preparations on Wednesday, August 7. The team is set to face Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup on August 14, and will begin their La Liga title defense against Mallorca four days later.
