Carlo Ancelotti has announced that Real Madrid will be his final club management position, despite ongoing interest from Brazil’s national team. The 65-year-old Italian, currently in his second stint at Real Madrid, has a contract extending to 2026.

Rumors about his future intensified throughout 2023 until he renewed his deal in December, coinciding with speculation linking him to the Brazilian job. Ancelotti revealed on the Obi One Podcast that while he enjoys the daily aspects of club management, he is less enthusiastic about national team roles. “This is my 29th season as a coach. It’s true that I have won a lot but imagine the number of titles I lost. I lost a lot,” he remarked.

Ancelotti’s illustrious 32-year coaching career includes league titles in Italy, England, France, Germany, and Spain, and a record five Champions League victories. His tenure at clubs like AC Milan, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid has cemented his legacy as one of football’s most successful managers.
