Just over a year ago, Messi left Paris Saint-Germain to join Inter Miami, rejecting lucrative offers in the process. Upon joining the Major League Soccer team, he gifted each of his teammates a pair of custom pink and black Beats by Dre headphones, matching the club’s kit colors. Now, he is set to feature prominently in the brand’s marketing campaigns, showcasing their lineup while sporting custom earphones, headphones, and speakers.
The Argentine World Cup winner and football icon expressed his excitement after officially partnering with Beats by Dre, saying, “It’s an honour to join the Beats family. Music is a big part of my pre-game routine, and Beats has always been at the forefront of bringing music and sports together.”
This marks Beats’ first MLS player signing since the brand became the official consumer audio partner of the league earlier this year. Even at 37, Messi remains a major draw both on and off the field.
Currently sidelined with an ankle injury sustained during Argentina’s Copa America final win over Colombia earlier this month, Messi hopes to return to action soon. His next opportunity is on August 3 when Miami faces Tigres UANL in the Leagues Cup.
