Aston Villa have completed the signing of Amadou Onana from Everton for a reported 50 million fee. Onana, who made 75 appearances for Everton and scored four goals, underwent a medical over the weekend and signed a long-term contract.
He will join Yuri Tielmans in the Aston Villa midfield, marking one of the biggest signings in the club’s history, surpassed only by the 52 million spent on Musa Diabi last summer. Other significant transfers in this window include Ian Maison joining from Chelsea for 37.5 million, and Musa Diabi’s impending 50 million move to Al IAD.
