La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Karim Adeyemi is Juventus’ top attacking target, prompting Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli to meet with the winger’s agents in Germany.
Juventus have clearly set their sights on Borussia Dortmund’s Adeyemi. The latest update from La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals that Bianconeri director Cristiano Giuntoli held discussions with Adeyemi’s representatives while in Germany.
Currently, Juventus are training in Herzogenaurach, just under two hours from Munich where Adeyemi’s agents are located.
Giuntoli has confirmed Juventus’ interest in the 22-year-old Adeyemi, with the player’s agents expressing his willingness to move to Turin.
Despite this, Juventus have not yet struck a deal with Dortmund and understand that they will need to offer between €40m and €45m to convince the Bundesliga club to part with their star player.
In addition to Juventus, Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea are reportedly interested in Adeyemi. Meanwhile, Juventus continue to monitor other potential targets such as Porto’s Galeno and Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.
Juventus are currently prioritizing player sales before making any further additions, with Adeyemi being a key target for the winger position. However, the club’s immediate focus remains on securing Teun Koopmeiners for midfield and Jean-Clair Todibo for defense.
