The design includes a white zig-zag graphic by Labrum London founder Foday Dumbuya, inspired by pan-African colors and African design traditions. A club statement emphasized the celebration of Arsenal’s connection to African supporters, highlighting the cultural heritage within the team and the supporter base. Dumbuya expressed his pride in the collaboration, noting Arsenal’s strong ties to the African community and the role of African heritage players as role models.
Despite some fans expressing disappointment when the design leaked in April, Arsenal remains optimistic about the upcoming season following their narrow miss on the Premier League title last term. Fans can purchase the authentic away shirt directly from the club for £110.
