Lazio’s acquisition of Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares has opened up an opportunity for Inter to pursue Hellas Verona full-back Juan Cabal, according to recent reports.

Inter, under coach Simone Inzaghi, are actively seeking a new left-footed defender following Tajon Buchanan’s injury during the Copa America, which has sidelined him for a minimum of four months and created a void in the squad.

Juan Cabal has garnered attention with impressive performances over the past two seasons at Hellas Verona. Initially targeted by Lazio, their focus shifted to Nuno Tavares of Arsenal, resulting in a deal valued at approximately €6 million for the Portuguese full-back.
